Greetings to all of you. May you have a nice day ahead. Today, I decided to share some fruitful tips that might be useful to all of you. Have you ever wondered what to do when you are having a bad to lift your mood up? Sure, it is really nice if we have someone that can boost our mood up whenever we're feeling low, but what if you are all by yourself by the end of the day? #ouchthatsentimentaltouch Here is a list of things that I would usually do to cheer myself up whenever I am having a bad day to deal with or feeling low.

Go outside and breathe fresh air - It is really tempting to lock yourself and mope around inside all day all night long when you are feeling low. I feel that by getting out into nature can improves our mood better. Look at the crystal clear skies, chirping birds and the scorchingly hot sun, enjoy the weather and take some fresh air to breathe in and breathe out. Oh, and dont forget to apply a plenty of sunscreen, if you need that!

Read some positive/motivational quotes - When you are feeling down in the dumps, it is nice to remind ourselves that others are going through the similar thing and we are not the alone survivor. You can read motivational quotes on websites like Goodreads and BrainyQuote.

Watch Disney movies - Honestly, this is my favorite thing to do on the list when I'm having a bad day. What a better way to cheer yourself up than to watch classic animated movies from your childhood? Watch some movies like Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, The Princess & The Frog, Peter Pan, Mulan and many more.

Take a deep breath - Deep breathing calms your body down and stress level. Well, that is the reason a lot of people tell you to breathe deeply when they want you to relax.

Turn on your favorites music - Of course, not all songs will improve your mood, just ones that are upbeat, in a major key and have uplifting lyrics. Create a playlist of your happy songs, or you can just listen to Happy by Pharrell William.

Clean your room/space - Being a neat-freak, I do this almost everyday but this can be some kind of stress-reliever and helps clearing your mind by doing some tasks. Cleaning your room will distract you from your troubles. Just crank up some music and you are good to go.

Read a good book - You know, current events and issues are often depressing, so why not lose yourself in a world of a good book instead? Here are some websites that recommended the good books to read to lift up your mood on a bad day,  Huffpost and Bustle.

Get off social media - People post on social media to tell about their own lives, but when you are comparing your life with them, it can make you feel even more depressed. What to do? Skip the social media for a day and go for real human interaction instead, just talk to your beloved ones and treasure the time while you may not do so when you are too absorbed with your own phone.

Pamper yourself/reward yourself - When was the last time you pampered yourself? It is time to take a little me time. Indulge in whatever you desires. And dont forget to carve out an hour a day for yourself in the future. No matter how busy you are, it is important to take care of yourself first.

Take a nap - I prefer to call nap as horizontal life pauses. When all you want to do is curl up in  a ball and avoid the world for a while, try taking a nap. It will fulfill your antisocial tendencies and let you recharge yourself for a while. Make sure you do it in a way that would not ruin your beauty sleep time at night.

That is all for now. Having a bad day once in a while is inevitable, but you can try these things to lift up your mood whenever you are having a bad day to deal with.

Love, Syfka
