Greetings to you all. May you have a nice day ahead. Over the past few months, I just got my knack back on with reading but frankly, I dont really call myself as an avid-reader, just getting there slowly. There are load of books that I wanted to read, so I made a monthly reads to organize them better. So, this will be my first book review. It is quite late to do that on my monthly reads because I just finished reading all of the books about two weeks ago #procrastinatoralert I have been reading classic books lately, and I really love it, it gave me a different perspective. Modern and contemporary books are really good too but classic books are just on another new level. The books that was added in my list are Pride and Prejudice by Jane AustenAnne of Windy Poplars and Anne of the Island by Lucy Maud Montgomery. I really love Pride and Prejudice, gotta say that this is one of the books that you should at least read once in your lifetime, you wont regret it.

Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen

The book really has a lot to say about people’s pride, vanity and prejudices in general. I think the plot is very witty and amusing, and it is an interesting insight into what women’s life was like at the time. Honestly, I love the wonderful spirited Lizzie Bennett, with her wit and humor. Also, I like the way the Bennett’s are portrayed, and the way Mrs Bennett is obsessed with marrying the daughters off, and how Mr Bennett and the daughters put up with it.

If you like good classic literature, a good love story (a really good one), and fun characters, you will enjoy reading Pride and Prejudice. It is a nice and satisfying read. Seriously.

Anne of Windy Poplars by L.M. Montgomery (Book #4)

Gotta say this is by far is my least favorite in Anne of Green Gables series. I think maybe it is the lack of the "familiar feel", I guess. I think Anne is much older in this book. I was skeptical at first but I still enjoyed reading this one. I liked this one a little less than the others, but it was a nice read. I really love Anne as a character. She is just everything.

Anne of the Island by L.M. Montgomery (Book #3)

I have been reading Anne of the Green Gables series for a while now. Honestly, she is one of my favorite literary heroines. I really love this book. Probably not as much as the first book series. It was really hard at first to determine which one I liked better. This book was brilliant. It was captivating, thrilling, and so emotional. The last scene has got to be my favorite of all and the best part was Anne and Gilbert finally get to be together! I am so happy.
