Do The Self-Motivate

Greetings to all of you. May you have a nice day ahead. You know what, I consider myself a pretty random person, and believe that inspiration can come from the unlikeliest of places. I think of inspiration just as I do trouble, if you go looking for it, you will surely find it.

So does everyone want to be inspired and motivated?

I mean how many of us actually wake up in the morning and say “I wonder what will inspire me today” Do we seek inspiration when we feel that our lives lack something. We can be inspired both when we want to and at the least expected of times. However when it comes to finding your way in life. In what kind of way inspires me to get motivated?

Make a list
I see lists, I do it. I love making a to-do list about the things that I am going to do. Whether is a new diet you have fallen away from, a blog you have not written on in months, an assignment that you are trying to complete, or you are just trying to push your lazy butt to workout sessions, when you feel you have lost all motivation, one of the easiest and best things to do is to create a list. Creating a list is much easier that what you thought it would be.

Create a to-do list, step by step, of what you need to get done for your tasks before the weekend. Jot down a few notes, in order, of what you should finish by the end of the day. Sometimes having a plan, and in front of you makes all the difference.

Distract yourself
Driving yourself crazy over what you have not finished doesnt get you anywhere. If you feel in-over-your-head, been too stressed out lately, prioritize, then take a small break. Focus on what needs to be done at this exact moment and do it first. The other stuffs can wait.

When you have finished doing your tasks, take a minute to stretch, walk around, eat a snack, listen to music, nap, or watching movies. Just do anything to reward yourself for you to feel better. You will feel more refreshed and energized enough to take on the next task.

Get outside and be active
There is nothing like a change of environment to get you back on track. When yo are feeling unmotivated, take your to-do list outside, go for a walk, run, hike, or head to the gym. Take that fresh air sometimes, dont just shut yourself down in a room.

Focus on the good
When you are feeling stuck or unmotivated, remind yourself of what you have accomplished so far. Instead of thinking of all that you have to do, look at how far you have come from where you started. By eliminating negative thoughts and looking at what is going right, you can feel more motivated and encouraged to continue.
